Soraya ShawFounder of Springboard Coaching, Soraya believes in the importance of developing and nurturing talent to optimise company and personal reward. From experience, Soraya knows that in a competitive marketplace where innovative products and superior service are key, overlaying technical skills with the soft skills of Leadership, Teamwork, Communications, Innovative Thinking, Social and Community Ethos and collective Confidence are the differentiators for success.

Soraya’s background at senior management level in global advertising at multi-national agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather, developed her skills in communications, business strategy, financial acuman and a solutions focused approach. She has cross-cultural experience across European and International markets, directing and leading teams in brand campaigns for multinationals such as Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Glaxo SmithKline and Kimberley Clark.

Soraya works with clients across a broad spectrum of industries and differing financial models, from Corporates, SME’s, Entrepreneurs, Social Enterprises and Charities.

Soraya is a founding member of the Association for Coaching (AC) which promotes excellence and ethics in coaching and is an AC Accredited Coach. Soraya recently completed the CIPD Licentiate post-graduate year in ‘Leadership and Management’ from Brighton Business School and has a Diploma in NLP. Soraya is also accredited in the use of the Emotions & Behaviours at Work psychometric test that focuses on the Emotional Intelligence areas that preditct success in teams, managers and leaders.

Soraya is a board member of Brighton and Hove Business in the Community Partnership and the Brighton Festival Fringe.

The Springboard Team

The team at Springboard are all accredited coaches with a minimum of 4 years organisational change and people development experience. All the members of the team have held senior management positions in their previous careers, so they understand the day to day expectations and pressures both from a personal and organisational point of view. They bring with them a wealth of knowledge, strategic insight, breadth of business experience and a pride in their own professional performance for optimising potential and sustainable growth.
